Welcome to State Line Speedway for the 5th running of the Ed Sneva Memorial. 20 beautiful vintage sprint cars showed for the annual event from central British Columbia to southern Oregon and Idaho and all parts in-between. Friday was cold and windy, but the track was good and by race time on Saturday, the wind had calmed and the temperature had risen to a comfortable degree.
#21 Jeff Cook carried the checkers in a memorial lap for Ed Sneva. Jeff crewed with the Sneva’s back in the day.
We also honored Bruce Simpson. Bruce was a car owner and a fixture at the track with our club for several years. He is missed. 3 Man formation was led by #41 Shawn Priest with Old Glory, #76 Dixon Helgeson with the checkers and #32 John Dahl completed the trio.
