It was great to return to Wenatchee Valley Super Oval as part of the annual Thunder in the Valley Open Wheel Show. Many thanks to Garrett Evans and his staff at WVSO for their support and hospitality – always a great weekend. The weather was on our side this year – temperatures were in the mid-80s a good 15-20% cooler than past years. A large crowd gathered for the Focus Midgets, West Coast Vintage Racers, Granite Evergreen Super Sprints and NW Mini stocks. The 21 vintage sprints made the trip to this beautiful location on a hill overlooking the Columbia River…2 had weekends ending early with engine issues.
