Light Yellow Offset Roadster Sprint car built by Carl Irish in 1962. The 41 year old car has a 305 cu in Chevrolet V8 and was raced all over the northwest, western states and Canada on short track ovals. It was first driven by Bob Nelson and had a Desoto V8. It was not a winner with the Desoto. Bob Greg started driving it in 63 or 64 and a Chevrolet V8 was soon installed. The car quickly became a winner and went on to hold fast time records at many northwest tracks. It was one of the first if not the first offset roadster sprint cars in the northwest. Don Shervey is the owner/driver and is 82 years old. Don has over 42 years of racing in the International Conference and SCCA. He raced Corvettes, Ferrari’s, various sports cars and some formula cars. He was the first to race a Ferrari at Portland International Raceway in his home town of Portland, Oregon.

He holds two championships in the Capitol Racing Association. The owner is Bob Farwell who also owns two sprint cars sponsored
by the Lone Oak Tavern, Salem, Oregon.
